Coal facilities were essential for nearly all stations. Smaller stations had coal for heating, whilst those serving larger villages and towns would have a coal merchant with an office and coal storage facilities. Stations wtih engine facilities would also need coal readily available in staithes in order to refuel loco bunkers and tenders. There are enough parts to make double coal straithes and a coal office hut. Area 122 x 50mm.
