Based on the signal box situated at Helmsdale station on the Far North Line in Scotland this new kit is a combination of laser-cut wooden parts and plastic-injection mouldings. Representing the delightful signal box that still stands today at this remote location, the interesting vertical boarding is typical of the old Highland Railway's design for buildings.

Opened in 1885 and closed exactly 100 years later in 1985, the building was subsequently given listed status and is now used by the permanent way department Full assembly instructions are provided for this easy to assemble kit. Including the stairs the finished model's footprint is 90 x 40mm.

The Scottish Highlands are a beautiful area of the country with dramatic landscapes featuring mountains and lochs as well as dainty communities scattered among them. With the popularity of modelling railways in the Scottish Highlands this kit will appeal to many throughout the modelling community.

A accurately laser cut wood kit supplemented by injection moulded roof. Glue and paints required to complete model.

We recommennd the use of Laser Cut Glue to construct this kit.
