This well known vehicle stemmed from the final LNER fish van design. BR built over 1,000 of them. At first they had oil axle boxes, but for long distance work many were given roller bearings. The blue spot identifying these gave them their nickname. After fish service many were converted to parcel vans and lasted into the 1980s. Our kits allow both oil and roller bearing axleboxes versions to be built.
