Scrap merchants were once a common sight, ringing a bell as they did their rounds. Their yards were never very grand places and here you can have great fun filling an empty corner witha stone sheck and some ready-made scrap. Not many small scrap yards survive today as people prefer to take things to their local recycling centre, or go to car boot sales. Area; 98 x 46mm.
